Q: I'VE BOOKED MY CRUISE -- NOW WHAT?A: You will receive a confirmation from WVTT by email within 2 weeks of making your reservation. This confirmation will contain your Reservation Number with HOLLAND AMERICA LINE as well as your stateroom number. Please read your confirmation carefully. Pay special attention to the spelling of each name on the confirmation and notify WVTT immediately if there are any mistakes. Your confirmation will also show the balance remaining on your account. By making your deposit, you acknowledge and authorize WVTT to apply the remaining balance of your account to the credit card on file with WVTT by Aug 29, 2008. If you would like the balance to be applied to another credit card, you must notify WVTT before August 15, 2008. WVTT will send emails periodically to the guest registered as the contact person for the cabin. It is their responsibility to communicate with the passengers that they are sharing a cabin with. Also, please visit www.SaraMoulton.com often for the latest updates and announcements. Q: WILL SARA MOULTON BE ON THE CRUISE?A: Yes! Sara as well as many of her family members will be joining us onboard the ship for the cruise. There will be many opportunities to interact with her. Q: HOW CAN I HAVE A PRIVATE DINING EXPERIENCE WITH SARA? A: Be one of the first three (3) cabins purchased in Deluxe Suite with Verandah, category SA, and spend an evening with Sara dining at the Pinnacle Grill. Q: WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY CRUISE DOCUMENTS?A: Your E-Docs (cruise documents) will be sent to the cabin contact person approximately 2 weeks prior to sailing by email. It will be necessary for you to receive your luggage tags at the pier prior to check-in. Please see a HOLLAND AMERICA PORTER for your tags. Q: MY TRAVEL COMPANION IS NOT INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING IN THE PROGRAM WITH SARA. IS THERE A DISCOUNT FOR NOT PARTICIPATING?A: No, because this is a special group, there are no discounts if you choose not to participate. There are many special amenities with this group so therefore we are unable to provide a discount. Q: CAN I USE COUPONS I HAVE FROM THE CRUISE LINE FOR A DISCOUNT?A: No, coupons cannot be used on this particular sailing. Q: HOW DO I BOOK SHORE EXCURSIONS WITH HOLLAND AMERICA LINE?A: HOLLAND AMERICA LINE offers many excursions for each port of call. To book a Shore Excursion offered through the cruise line, visit this link: Q: WHAT IS HOLLAND AMERICA'S AGE POLICY?A: No guest under the age of twenty-one (21) will be booked in a stateroom unless accompanied by an adult twenty-one (21) years of age, or older. This age limit will be waived for minor children sailing with their parents or guardians in adjacent staterooms or under-aged married couples (proof of marriage is required). HOLLAND AMERICA reserves the right to ask for proof of age. HOLLAND AMERICA’S age policy for gambling and consumption of alcoholic beverages is as follows: Please note: An individual's age on the date of sailing determines his or her status for the entire cruise vacation. Q: ALCOHOL POLICY A: Effective as of all sailings commencing on or after July 28, 2006, the minimum drinking age for all alcoholic beverages on all HOLLAND AMERICA ships is 21. Guests are not allowed to bring alcoholic beverages onboard for consumption or any other use. Alcoholic beverages that are purchased in ports of call or from onboard shops will be stored by the ship and delivered to guest staterooms on the last day of the sailing. Security may inspect containers (water bottles, soda bottles, mouthwash, luggage etc.) and will dispose of containers holding alcohol. Holland America Line's Guest Vacation Policy may be enforced, up to and including disembarkation, if a guest violates any alcohol policy. Guests under the age of 21 will not have alcohol returned to them. Guests who violate any alcohol policies, (over consume, provide alcohol to people under age 21, demonstrate irresponsible behavior, or attempt to conceal alcoholic items at security and or luggage check points or any other time), may be disembarked or not allowed to board, at their own expense, in accordance with our Guest Vacation Policies. Holland America Line reserves the right to revoke or otherwise restrict drinking privileges of any guest, regardless of age. Q: GAMBLING POLICY A: Guests eighteen (18) years of age and older are welcome to play in our casinos. Q: ARE PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED FACILITIES AVAILABLE ONBOARD?A: Yes, all ships have physically challenged facilities as well as a select number of cabins for physically challenged guests. Q: WHAT ARE THE DRESS CODES ONBOARD?A: There are three distinct types of evenings onboard: casual, smart casual and formal. Suggested guidelines for these nights are:
7 night cruises include two formal nights, one smart casual night and the remainder nights casual. We appreciate your usual parental guidance and cooperation in observing these easy guidelines with your children. Q: WHAT SHOULD I PACK?A: Bring casual, comfortable clothing. Shoes should be low-heeled for deck activities, bring a few swimsuits (so you'll always have a dry one). Ashore you'll need comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots as well as a hat and sunscreen for protection from the sun. We recommend that you hand-carry all travel documents (passports, airline tickets, etc.) medications, and any personal items that you may need. Please do not put these items into checked luggage as they may become lost and prevent you from boarding the ship. Also, luggage may take a few hours before it is delivered to your cabin. Q: ARE ATM MACHINES AVAILABLE ONBOARD?A: All ships in the Holland America Line fleet have ATM machines. There is a transaction fee up to $5.50 plus any other fees the guests financial institution would charge. Q: WHAT TYPE OF SPECIAL MEALS DOES HOLLAND AMERICA LINE OFFER?A: Holland America Line makes every effort to accommodate our guests' dietary requirements whenever possible. Special needs such as, Food Allergies, Gluten-free, Vegetarian (except for vegan/macrobiotic) Low-fat, Low-Sodium, lactose-free/Soy Milk, Ensure, and Kosher meals are available at no extra charge. Please notify World Ventures Travel with any special dietary needs. Q: WHAT IS HOLLAND AMERICA LINE'S SMOKING POLICY?A: For the comfort and enjoyment of our guests, smoking is prohibited onboard most areas of the ship. However, to provide an onboard environment that also satisfies smokers, special designated smoking areas are available in many lounges and on all open-air decks. |
