Frequently Asked Questions Regarding Airfare

IS
AIRFARE INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE CRUISE?
No,
airfare is not included in the price of the cruise, however if you would
like for WVTT to help you secure flights, please
fill out your air request on the registration form. The airfare
and transfers will be secured through Holland America's Fly Cruise Plan. This
program entitles you to a whole host of advantages:

Custom Travel,
Holland America's Air plus service allows guests to select which
airline they prefer, upgrade flight class and/or travel to and from
their (dis)embarkation port on dates other than those usually
booked. A service charge will be assessed for this service.

Flight delay assistance,
if your flight is delayed, Holland America will make sure someone is
at the airport to meet you and help you with your luggage and
transportation to the pier or continuing flight.

Flight cancellation assistance,
if your flight is cancelled or a revised schedule no longer connects
to the ship, Holland America will alter your ticket at no charge, if
necessary rebook on an alternative airline.
CAN I
PURCHASE MY OWN AIRFARE?
Absolutely. If arranging your own air transportation, please plan to
arrive in Ft. Lauderdale by 12:00 noon on November 30th and arrange your return flight home after 1:00 pm on December 5th.
We recommend that you allow at least four hours for transfers, customs
clearance and airport security checks. If you purchase air
transportation independently from Holland America or WVTT you will be
responsible for any and all expenses incurred when joining the vessel.
